The Rugby Championship/Tri Nations draw 2020
The 2020 Rugby Championship has been replaced by a Tri-Nations series after South Africa announced it wouldn’t be travelling to Australia. The Tri-Nations will take place in October, November and December with all matches to be played in Australia. Check out the Tri-Nations Series fixtures here.
While the ongoing coronavirus pandemic initially caused the competition to be postponed, SANZAAR has confirmed a new, six-week iteration of the tournament to be hosted in Australia late in the year. Every match will be played in New South Wales with the exception of one, which will take place in Queensland.
All matches will be played on Saturdays, beginning with a standalone Australia versus New Zealand clash at ANZ Stadium before the competition moves to Queensland.
The Tri-Nations then returns to New South Wales before the competition wraps up with the Wallabies vs Argentina on December 5 at Bankwest Stadium.
